DATELINE: May 18, 2006
I have news of another Gentlemen Scholars gig for you. Saturday June 3rd at the Sons of Hermann Hall
in Dallas. Chemistry Set is also on the bill along with our good
friends Salim Nourallah and the Noise. We go on right at 10 pm so don't
be late.

Work
continues on our debut album. At this time we have 8 of 13 songs mixed
(though only 9 or 10 will make it to the final album) and we should
have the stragglers mixed by the end of the month.

There's
nothing I would rather do on my 40th birthday than play a great set of
classic songs to an appreciative crowd. Come see us anyways at the Barley House on Saturday, February 25.
We head into the studio the very next day to begin work on our first album. Again.

former Chomsky guitarist Glen Reynolds new band Red Lights. Here, In

Our
next show is Friday, December 9 at The Gypsy Tea Room. We're pleased to
be sandwiched in between terrific comedian Dave Little and our friends
in Sorta. This is a holiday show so why don't you show a little class
and dress up nice for a change.

This
Friday Rich and I play a special two man show with our good buddy Salim Nourallah
at Bend
Studio.
We'll miss Matt and James but the last time we play at Bend we had a
great show. This is a great show to catch if you like to catch great
music in a non-smoking, non-talking environment.

We
have a full-on Gentlemen Scholars gig Saturday, November 12 at the Barley House.
We are the only band that night so we are doing two sets starting at 10
pm. We will be playing everysong we know and a few we don't. We hope to
have some special guests but it hasn't been confirmed yet so no
promises.
